These Alpha series bread knives will delight you with every slice, because the special serrated edge with pointed teeth significantly increases both the cutting ability and the edge retention of the knife. Hard bread can be sliced every bit as cleanly as soft baguettes. The knife blade is hand-forged from a single piece of stainless chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, then ice-hardened and sharpened by hand. The bread knife sits comfortably balanced in the hand thanks to the finely polished handle made of robust plastic.
