The Russian Czar Alexander II was an enthusiastic aficionado of the champagne from the House of Roederer. That is why he was given a book published in 1892 detailing the production methods of these champagnes, which, even in those days, were world famous. Since then, the method has remained practically untouched, and the grape presses of yesteryear are still around today. The Roederer family concern, which was founded in 1776, is still among the leading champagne producers. This is where Louis Roederer Brut Premier comes from. After maturing at least four years in the bottle, this champagne achieves a perfect balance and a rich, fruity bouquet. It offers a broad texture and a full body, combined with unexpected maturity and a wine-like character with fruity, refreshing notes. Perfect for serving on "those special occasions".
