Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Whiskey is characterised by the double maturing process and the resulting multi-layered taste. Initially, the bourbon is matured to perfection in freshly burnt oak casks, followed by a spell in heavily charred oak casks. This gives it its unmistakable palate, with the characteristic sweetness of caramel and chocolate and dark fruits. The delicate and full-bodied flavour carries fruity notes alongside vanilla, hazelnut and spices. The finish of this bourbon is pleasantly creamy, with subtle hints of sweet apples.
