When a string of ominous events occur on the island, Moana's grandmother is the only one who knows that they are linked to theft that happened long, long ago. 1,000 years ago the demi-god Maui stole the green heart of the mother of all islands. With the help of her grandmother, Moana realises that the ocean has chosen her to bring back the green heart. She sets off on an adventurous journey that involves heroic battles against many dangerous creatures.
