This V.J.O.P Gin ("Very Junipery Over Proof") from the British Sipsmith distillery captures the full range of flavours of the juniper berry. The nose is dominated by juniper, cedar and a hint of zesty orange. Juniper is prominent on the palate, too, in combination with a rich spiciness and intense notes of dark chocolate. The long finish delights with a beautiful balance. This particularly intense gin also provides a full-bodied flavour in a gin and tonic or a martini.
