This wine comes from the heart of the growing region on the slopes of the Etna volcano in Sicily. The red Nerello Mascalese grape is grown here and made into high-quality wines. The Planeta Etna Rosso Sicilia glows red in the glass, with purple reflections. Vanilla, Amarena cherry, wild strawberry and clear floral nuances unfold on the nose. Complex aromas of woods, myrtle and oriental spices emerge on the palate, making this wine surprisingly full-bodied. Slightly metallic accents, rhubarb notes and a hint of black pepper round off the flavour profile.
