Time flies with the Terrasport I. On the one hand, because it measures the time as a traditional pilot watch and on the other hand because it is reminiscent of the start of watch production in Glashütte. The city has stood for elegant timepieces, and pocket watches in particular, since 1845. The production of watches didn't increase until the 1930s - as precise, easily readable pilot watches.
Heritage of the pilot chronograph
At the height of their development, pilot watches were tailored precisely for their use: pilots were equipped with chronographs, navigation officers were given large observation watches, other crew members were kitted out with smaller three-hand watches. With the linearity and precision typical of Mühle, the Terrasport I chronograph has added a new chapter to the history of pilot chronographs.
