The balance must be right: this applies not only to the 29er as a sailing dinghy, but also to the 29er Tag/Datum. When the wind is really blowing in the sail and the bowman is hanging in the trapeze with their whole weight, the right balance makes the difference between sinking or sailing. Just as important is the balance in the date/day display, which is positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock and underlines the linear character of the 29er.
Little dinghy, big name
The watch was named after a dinghy sailed by up-and-coming sailors in the youth championship of the German Sailing Association. Many of the watches from Mühle-Glashütte have nautical origins, as the company started with the production of maritime chronometers and marine clocks.
