The Miyagikyo distillery produces its whisky in the Miyagi Valley. This region, to the north of the Japanese island of Honshu, is known for its pure air and the quality of its natural springs. With its typical fruity and floral freshness, the Miyagikyo single malt perfectly represents the character of the distillery. At the same time, the maturation of the whisky in sherry casks gives the flavour additional depth. The flavour profile of this whisky is straightforward and full-bodied, with notes of barley malt, gentle spices, chocolate and coconut.
