The grapes for the Sauvignon Blanc were personally selected by the senior winemaker. Each fruit parcel is selected for its unique properties. They are cultivated in the Awatere Valley in the Marlborough region. The vines grow on sandy lime soil with a chalky substrate and thus create fruity Sauvignon Blanc grapes with the minerality typical of Marlborough. In the glass, the wine radiates a lovely straw-yellow colour with lime-green accents. It has a fantastic, expressive and piquant aroma of stinging nettle and tropical fruit, paired with a fine minerality. It is seamless and full-bodied on the palate.
