This single malt whisky is matured in barrels made from Japanese mizunara oak. On the nose, it is characterised by a combination of slightly bitter notes of unblended whisky and a fine sweetness with oak aromas. On the palate, the Matsui Mizunara Cask is both gentle and full-bodied with a long, soft finish. It does not contain any artificial colourants.
