Martínez Lacuesta is a Rioja veteran, one of the oldest wineries in the region. It is now run by the fifth generation of the Lacuesta family, with a huge sense of tradition, passion and uncompromising quality. The Tempranillo grapes for the Cynthia Rioja grow south of the River Ebro around the picturesque little town of Haro - in cool, ancient vineyards at an altitude of over 600 metres. The wine is impressive right from the start, with pure red heart cherry dominating. Notes of violets and Madagascar vanilla give it a silky character that's supported by freshness and spice on the palate.
