In February 1994, the Airbus A321 with the registration D-AIRD was supplied to Lufthansa straight from the factory. After almost 30 years of reliable service, the A321 with the serial number MSN 474 was decommissioned and is still one of the oldest A321 s ever to fly. The Lufthansa Upcycling Collection is now paying its last respects to the "Romeo Delta" by giving it a new existence as a key ring. Every individual key ring has been intricately handmade with lots of attention to detail, resulting in pieces that are not just eye-catching, but also a piece of Lufthansa history.
Heritage designs for the future
Deboarding for exclusive design objects: decommissioned aircraft and airport products and materials form the basis of the Lufthansa Upcycling Collection, which will impress more than just airline fans and aviation-loving travellers. You can now enjoy the original Lufthansa signature style in your daily life and make an important contribution at the same time. The unique and limited products combine the past with a message for the future and are the perfect embodiment of sustainability.
