The 5 year warranty for all Lufthansa Life Collection products starts from the date of purchase on the sales slip (invoice or receipt). The invoice or receipt serves as proof of purchase for the warranty to apply. The warranty can be invoked in all Worldshop delivery countries. These are listed on our website under Delivery. Only the initial person to purchase or receive the product as a gift can claim under warranty.
During this warranty period we will remedy all material and manufacturing defects at no cost by repairing the item and, where this is not possible, by replacing the product. The warranty thus exclusively covers faults in the material or defects due to poor workmanship, and is limited to the value of the product. Damage caused, for example, by
To be able to invoke warranty services, the product must be sent in so that Miles & More can establish whether the basis for a warranty claim exists. The product must be securely packaged to avoid damage while in transport. Our standard returns procedure applies when sending in the product. You can find step-by-step instructions on our website under Returns. We will assume the shipping and return costs.
The product will be examined to determine whether the problem is covered by the Lufthansa Life Collection warranty or not. If a warranty claim exists, you will be informed whether the product will be repaired or replaced. Miles & More will bear the costs of a repair or replacement of this nature, including the costs incurred for returning the repaired or replaced product to you. If the product needs to be replaced but is no longer part of the range or is no longer available, Miles & More reserves the right to provide you with a comparable substitute. Any further compensation claims, with the exception of your statutory warranty entitlement, are excluded. To the extent permissible, implied warranties are hereby excluded. Manufacturer specifications may change without notice.
Within the warranty period, repairs made under warranty will be performed exclusively by Miles & More or a service provider authorised by Miles & More. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs will result in nullification of this warranty. Collateral and consequential damage is expressly excluded. Labour costs and damage caused by repairs performed by persons other than a service provider authorised by Miles & More are not covered by this warranty.
Our product locks are only meant to prevent unintentional opening and do not necessarily prevent theft of the product or its contents, or flight or airport personnel or government authorities from breaking open or accessing the product. Please check your product immediately after it has been handled by others.
This warranty is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Warranty rights specific to your country may vary from the rights described in this manufacturer warranty, for example in terms of liability provisions for damage, compensation claims etc.
This warranty applies independently of or in addition to statutory warranty rights that take priority in your country and does not restrict such rights.
This warranty covers all rights described above and is granted by Miles & More GmbH (Unterschweinstiege 8, 60549 Frankfurt).
Yes, you can. For smaller repairs, for example to wheels, carry handles or telescopic handles, contact Store Services in the Worldshop Airport Stores directly. But please schedule in some time.
You can find Worldshop Airport Stores at the Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin Brandenburg, Hamburg and Dusseldorf airports. Please note that the Berlin Airport Store is located behind the security control checkpoints. At Munich Airport, the repair service is available in the Airport Store on Terminal 2.

Our Lufthansa Life Collection products have been created for life on the move and will acquire a unique character during your travels.
We recommend that you check your product as soon as you get it back from freight handling and immediately report any damage to the transport company (e.g. airline, shipping company, railway company etc.).
The shell of the trolleys and travel accessories from the Lufthansa Life Collection is made of pure, dyed polycarbonate. But the Limited Edition products are an exception. In these products, a coating is applied to recycled, undyed polycarbonate. To clean it, simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth or a sponge. To remove dust or dried dirt, we recommend using a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment or a soft clothes brush. Do not use microfibre or polishing cloths or similar sponges. Stubborn stains can usually be easily treated with a simple alcohol solution (e.g. isopropyl) or lukewarm soapy water (e.g. water plus a little washing-up liquid). The following cleaning products are not suitable as they can damage the polycarbonate material: cream cleaners, vinegar-based cleaners or disinfectants, solvents, thinners or aggressive alcohols, petroleum distillates and nail varnish removers.
Tip: there may occasionally be some rubber marks on your luggage. The best way to remove these is by using a dry, soft cloth. A dirt eraser helps to remove extremely stubborn marks.

The three practical extras, plus a protective trolley cover, are included with the regular trolley models, but not with the Limited Edition models. Instead, the Limited Edition trolleys come with a separate transparent cosmetics pouch.
