This blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir comes from a 300-year-old wine-growing estate in the Cape. The grapes for this sparkling wine are picked at night, as is traditional, to retain their optimal freshness. The wine's typical character is also the result of the unique terroir and classic fermentation in the bottle. On the nose, the wine reveals aromas of lemon and orange zest with hints of minerality and biscuits. Notes of pineapple, apple and salted caramel follow on the palate. The finish is smooth and sustained.
