Product description
Item number: 1773003
This new edition of the aeroplane cup commemorates the 260th anniversary of the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin and pays tribute to one of the company's most prominent designers. The special thing about Marguerite Friedlaender-Wildenhain's Bauhaus design is that the stand ring of the espresso cup fits perfectly into the hole in the saucer, creating a topple-proof object that is perfect in both shape and function. These espresso cups were originally created purely as a design study and were not available to buy. This makes them a real one-off; a must-have for all aficionados and collectors of classic Bauhaus aesthetic.
