Product description

Item number: 1770495

The Lockheed L-1649 A Starliner was a four-engine commercial propeller plane and the last model in the Constellation series from the American producer Lockheed. Between 1958 and 1960, Lufthansa used four Starliners as passenger planes. These were later converted to cargo planes, which were in service until November 1965. The Starliner was one of the first commercial planes to fly non-stop against the jet stream from Europe to the East Coast of America. This metal model on a scale of 1:500 has been printed in careful detail and features the historic Lufthansa livery.
