It's called "Chai Dao" - meaning cooking knife - but it has little in common with the knives we are familiar with. The wide, 16-cmlong blade is ideal for other tasks, too: chopping herbs or pressing garlic cloves. The blade is hand-forged from stainless chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, ice-hardened and sharpened by hand. The bread knife sits comfortably balanced in the hand thanks to the finely polished handle made of robust plastic.
