In addition to the usual earthly botanicals juniper, coriander and cubeb pepper, this space-themed gin uses two very special herbs: flower of heaven (cowslip) and starwort. The intense orange note is also central to the taste. To achieve this, the zests are removed from the fruit by hand and preserved in organic wheat alcohol to retain their flavour. Gin Knopf goes best with a bitter tonic water, but it also tastes great neat or in fruity cocktails.
