Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella founded the Falesco vineyard in 1979 and gained international recognition with their Merlot Montiano. The Marciliano from the Umbrian estate of the same name is made from 30percent Cabernet Franc and 70percent Cabernet Sauvignon, and is just as discerning. A deep red wine with an expansive bouquet of dark berries, crème de cassis and fine roasted aromas. The intense, ripe fruit is perfectly embedded in a velvety texture with a brilliant finish.
