The cuvée of Welschriesling and Weissburgunder was matured in large wooden barrels and bottled without any fining or filtration. Weißer Schiefer "S" has a shimmering straw yellow colour and the aromas of melon, stone fruit, white pepper and a hint of smoke. The taste of pear and ripe gooseberries combines with mineral and salty flavours and a fine acidity to create the perfect balance that gives this wine its finesse.
