G-SHOCK

The G-SHOCK was developed in an era when watches were still considered fragile instruments. The origin lies with a young CASIO engineer who dreamed of "creating a watch that wouldn't break, even if dropped."

After CASIO had already made waves with the first digital wristwatches in 1974, the company once again revolutionized the watch market in the 1980s with the nearly indestructible G-SHOCK.

The shock-resistant G-SHOCK watches quickly became a symbol of durability, innovation, and versatility. Finally, watches could be worn while skateboarding or riding a BMX without needing to be taken off. Falls and impacts were no problem for the G-SHOCK. Whether in everyday life, during sports, or under extreme outdoor conditions, for almost 35 years, G-SHOCK watches have been versatile and reliable companions in every situation.
