Family business DreiMeister is located in Werl in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, a region known more for its brown rye bread than its exquisite confectionery. Yet chocolate delicacies have been produced here for 45 years, using fresh ingredients and largely by hand. The company’s range includes around 120 different types of truffles and pralines, as well as slabs and “doubloons”. DreiMeister handles twelve tonnes of milk chocolate and six tonnes of dark chocolate in liquid form every month. The company’s delicacies can not only be bought in selected specialist chocolate shops and in its own online shop - its customers also include luxury hotels, airlines and football clubs all over the word.
