Malt Master David Stewart has dedicated a lot of time to the production of dessert wines from Madeira and was inspired by this experience to make this whisky. This single malt matures in American oak before being finished in Madeira barrels to give it a fruity, full-bodied flavour profile. The bouquet is characterised by dark berries, ginger and spices, while on the palate aromas of peach and orange as well as hints of hazelnut and oak come into play. The finish is harmonious and long-lasting.
