If your Apple AirTag is nearby, your iPhone can lead you straight to it with Precision Finding*. Ultra Wideband technology shows you the distance and the direction to head in.

Safe and anonymous searching

Only you can see the current location of your AirTag. Location data and history are never stored. Data is encrypted every step of the way. All devices that transmit location data also remain anonymous. The process is not just secure but also efficient: the AirTag is designed to keep going for more than a year on a standard battery that you can easily replace.

It has a rating of IP67 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes). Splash, water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear.
