A German Great Dane by the name of Bismarck watches over the cellar at the Alvi's Drift vineyard located south of Worcester in South Africa. The dog also shares its name with this multi-award winning red wine made from Syrah, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Petit Verdot grapes. These are processed separately and matured in barrique. The composition results in a full-bodied, elegant wine with great complexity. On the palate it unveils notes of dark fruits, spices, vanilla and white pepper. You can enjoy this exquisite wine on board in Lufthansa First Class.
